We thoroughly clean your entire system with the end result being mountain fresh air. Our technicians take apart the vents, clean the motor, blades, registers, and everything else that can be accessed. Ducts are very difficult to clean due to the complexity of the air intake routing systems. We have special tools for accessing the inside of vents that would be inaccessible to other companies. We have a reputation for doing impossible jobs that are too tough for those “other guys” to do. Inside duct-work, sometimes there is fiberglass insulation. We use a special coating that seals it off and keeps it from blowing out into your home.
How Do We Clean Residential Ducts?
The first thing that we do, and, the most important part of Air- Duct Cleaning is , we remove the motor and blower from the furnace (unit) to wash and sanitize it . We then clean and sanitize the heating coil.
The blower is what generates the air-flow, much like a turbine or a fan it has blades on it , The rotor blades after years time can have 2-3 inches of build up on them from pollen, dust, dander,aerosols.cleansers soot, smoke etc. We have even found rat poop on them before.
Then we set up our Turbo Hepa filtered vacum with a coiled duct hose to the return ,and, seal of all of the vents except for the one we are working on. This then creates a reverse flow so that all the debris is being sucked and drawn into the vacum.
We then remove the register grill and run a spinning 12 inch nylon Roto brush through the duct wall, sweeping clean all of the debris and pollutants that are attached to the walls.
Finally, we use a fogging machine to sanitize and seal inside the duct walls to eradicate molds, fungus and slime that may attached to the duct wall and to seal any loose fiberglass parts.
We do this for each and every vent throughout the home , so from one end to the other they are completely sanitized and decontaminated. This will not only help with a breath easy, safe environment but will also help to eliminate dust problems through out the home.
